There is a small charge of £1.95 for orders under £30 in value.

Your order will be dispatched using either Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery (Signed For) or by courier ANC depending on weight and size.

Delivery normally takes 2 to 3 working days. The majority of our orders arrive next business day if ordered before 3pm.

We also provide a Guaranteed Next Business Day before 1pm delivery service for £4.95 or a Guaranteed Saturday delivery service for £6.95. Orders for both of these must be placed before 3pm the previous Business day (Some hard to reach postcodes may take longer) See Royal Mail

Both of these Special Delivery services also offer up to £500 compensation for loss or damage to an item. They also both offer online Track & Trace. Please email us if you require your Track & Trace reference code.

We also offer a choice of an alternative delivery address. This is ideal for Christmas and Birthdays or for delivery to your workplace if you are not going to be at home during the daytime. Please remember to include the business name in the address and an office/floor number. This will be an option at the checkout.

Please make sure there will be someone to sign for your parcel. If you miss your delivery the Royal Mail will leave a card to say which Post Office it is left at. If it was by courier they will leave a card with a number to ring for redelivery. They will only redeliver once free of charge.

We deliver all our European & International goods by Airmail Recorded Delivery (Signed For).

We charge £4.95 for small items (eg T-shirts) and £9.95 for larger items (eg Jeans).

Delivery normally takes between 3 to 7 working days. Some parts of the world may take longer.


International deliveries can only be shipped to your registered card billing address.

Please make sure there will be someone to sign for your parcel when it arrives.

Please be aware that the customs authorities in your country may charge you Import Duty and/or other additional related charges. You are responsible for paying any such costs. These costs are outside our control, and vary from country to country. Please contact your customs office if you require further information.

Returning your goods

Here at Yak Clothing we want you to be happy every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return or exchange an item, so below are our instructions of how to do this.

Helpful Advice

Please ensure all items are returned to us in their unworn original condition with all original packaging and garment tags intact.

Clothing: When trying on clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing any make-up, perfume or deodorant which may leave marks on the product.

Watches: Avoid contact with perfume, deodorant, hairspray or water. Avoid scratches by storing in the original packaging.

We reserve the right to refuse returns if we feel that the item(s) have been worn, deliberately damaged or mistreated.


Returns - Change of mind
  1. Please return the item(s) in unworn original condition within 14 days of receipt. The garment must be returned with all original packaging and garment tags intact
  2. Complete the returns form on the back of your delivery form. (Printable returns form)
  3. Send the item(s) back to Yak Clothing at the address on the returns form.
  4. Your parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us, so please use Royal Mail Recorded delivery (Signed For) or a registered courier service.
  5. Please note that returning items will be at your expense.
  6. Upon receipt and examination we will issue a full refund to your credit or debit card. You will receive an email confirming your refund.
  7. The length of time refunds take may vary depending on the card issuer. Please allow 5-10 working days for the refund to credit your account.

Exchanges

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that the item you wish to exchange your item for will be in stock. If the item is no longer in stock we will contact you by email or telephone to let you know. In this instance you will be given the option to exchange for another item, get us to order another size or colour from our supplier (if they have it), get store credit or a refund where applicable.

  1. Please return the item(s) in unworn original condition within 14 days of receipt. The garment must be returned with all original packaging and garment tags intact.
  2. Complete the returns form on the back of your delivery form. (Printable returns form)
  3. Send the item(s) back to Yak Clothing at the address on the returns form.
  4. If you require an exchange, for example a different size or colour, return the product and we will send out a replacement. You may wish to contact us so we can put it to one side so it does not sell to anyone else.
  5. Alternatively, if you require an exchange for a different product you will need to make a new purchase on line, returning the original purchase back to us which will then be refunded.
  6. Your parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us, so please use Royal Mail Recorded delivery (Signed For) or a registered courier service.
  7. Please note that returning items will be at your expense, however the cost of sending the exchanged item(s) out will be met by Yak Clothing.
  8. Subsequent exchanges could require additional packaging costs.
  9. You will receive an email confirming that we have sent out your exchange.

Faulty Returns / Errors

We get very few returns and make very few errors. However should a problem arise we aim to resolve it as soon as possible. Please feel free to contact us if you need any advice.

  1. If the item(s) you receive is faulty or not what you ordered please return as for "returns - change of mind" above stating whether you require an exchange or refund. (Printable returns form)
  2. Upon receipt and examination we will issue an exchange or full refund to your credit or debit card.
  3. We will be happy to refund you the costs involved in sending the item back to us as well as your original postage costs.
  4. You will receive an email confirming your refund.

7 Day Cooling-Off Period

In addition to our returns policy, under the Distance Selling Regulations you have seven working days (beginning the day after receipt) to cancel your purchase. In this case, we will provide a full refund but you must return the cancelled items to us at your cost.


Statutory Rights

Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy and you will have the benefit of them too.

Size Guide

Here at Yak Clothing we understand how important it is for our customers to have as much information on sizing as possible. You can also feel safe in the knowledge that you can return any items for a full refund or exchange.

In our experience we find that sizes vary from brand to brand but generally speaking each brands sizing policy will stay the same from one season to the next.

The size that we list on the website is the size on the clothing label. If we feel that it is much smaller or larger we will advise you of this in the description. (Please note that this will only be our opinion)

If you are used to a brands sizes please buy the same size you always buy. If you are new to a brand please buy your actual size or contact us so we can measure the item for you. Fill in the contact form in our contact us section selecting size request.

Payment Options

To give our customers the widest choice of payment options we have teamed up with Sage Pay (previously Protx) and PayPal.


Both of these providers offer the highest level of security and reliability when it come to payment processing.

 

If you already have a PayPal account this will allow you to speed through the payment process without even needing to enter you card details.

 

Telephone Payments

If you do not like using your credit card online or would just prefer to place your order by phone, please call us on 08456 800 585 or 01522 540053 (Mon-Sat 10:00–17:30 and Sunday 11:45–16:30) and ask to speak to Sara or Paul. We will be pleased to take your order in person. We have been taking credit card payments over the phone for many years through our secure merchant account.

What is Verified by Visa and SecureCode by Mastercard?

Verified by Visa and SecureCode by MasterCard is a new service for Visa and Mastercard cardholders (and also Visa Delta and some Maestro users) which allows them to shop more safely on the internet. The entire system is covered by 3-D secure. It simply requires the cardholder to provide a personal password when paying for goods online with their card. This ensures that only the cardholder can use the card when providing card details to an online shop. Cardholders can sign up to the service with their card provider at no cost and are reassured that their card is protected from fraudulent use on the internet.


How does it work?

1. The 3D Secure system only works if you have registered your card with Verified by Visa or SecureCode Mastercard. Otherwise you will go through the payment stage as usual.
2. When completing a purchase, you will be asked to fill in your Credit Card details as normal
3. When you submit your order, the Verified by Visa or SecureCode MasterCard window will appear
4. A personal message will appear. This assures you that we are using a genuine Verified by Visa / MasterCard pop-up screen
5. Simply enter your personal password, and then click “Submit”.
6. A confirmation message will appear as normal

If you don’t wish to use this service you can still make a purchase from our site for now but the card companies will soon make it mandatory for all online purchases. All prices and charges on this website are in pounds sterling and are all inclusive of VAT. The total cost of the order is the price of the items plus the delivery charge.

Security

We use the industry leading internet payment company Sage Pay (previously Protx) to protect your card details and protect us from fraud. The following security systems are used.


Transaction Security

All transaction information passed between merchant sites and the SagePay VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to our server from SagePay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the SagePay servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.


Encryption and Data Storage

All sensitive data is secured on SagePay using the same internationally recognized 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign’s Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data they hold is extremely secure and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.


Links to Banks

SagePay has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorization message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.


Employee Access

No individuals within Yak Clothing or SagePay are able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Our systems only allow access to our most senior staff and only in extenuating circumstances (such as investigations of Card Fraud by the Police). Your transaction information and customer card information is secure even form our own employees because our systems never display the full card numbers, even on administration screens.


Secure Payment Technology

This makes card processing much more secure as it requires the cardholder to provide a password when paying for goods online. Please see our payment options for more details.

At Yak, we take security very seriously and make shopping online as safe as shopping in our store.

Your browser will go into secure mode as soon as you access the payment stage of checkout. This happens before you enter any payment details. You can check that you are shopping in a secure environment by looking for either a locked padlock or a key icon on your internet browser screen. You will also notice that the letters http in the address bar will change to https meaning you are in secure mode.

Being in ’secure mode’ means that all of your details are encrypted to help keep them secure. Encryption creates billions of code combinations to protect each transaction made on our site, so your card details cannot be viewed by anyone else using the Internet. If you are using one of the more recent browser versions, our site supports 128 bit encryption and therefore keeps your details as safe as possible at all times.

We only accept orders that are placed using Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This technology prevents you from inadvertently revealing personal information using an insecure connection. During payment, we also ask for your card billing address as an additional security check. New security checks like the card signature code have recently been introduced to protect your credit card details online.
